Kheer Bhawani

The spring temple at the heart of Kashmiri Pandit worship.

At Tulmul a sacred spring is dedicated to the goddess Ragnya, called Kheer Bhawani because devotees offer her kheer, a rice pudding. A small marble temple stands in the middle of the spring, and a festival held there each year draws Kashmiri Pandits from across India.
